The ever daring Ajith

With only a few patch work shots left in Arrambam, Ajith has shifted his attention to Siruthai Siva’s Veeram. Siva who made his debut in Tamil films in Karthi’s Siruthai has managed to rope in the Thala for his next flick. It is said that the movie has many action sequences. Ajith, who is known to be gutsy enough to involve himself in action sequences without using a dupe, is said to have repeated history in Veeram too.

Our inside sources say that Ajith acted in an action sequence which had him hanging outside from a train. The train apparently goes into a dark tunnel with Ajith still hanging out of it.

Although the train moved at a slow speed, such an act is daring beyond doubt. The sequence was shot in a location situated in the Orissa border. Team Veeram is shooting at Hyderabad at the moment, after which the team will come down to Chennai to shoot another schedule that will begin by the 5th of September.

Veeram has Tamannaah in the female lead opposite Ajith. Vidharth and Santhanam will feature in important roles. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for the film and the movie is produced by Vijaya productions.
