    aiyo why did u stress out so much K with flu. I did uppu (urad dal stuffing) and vella kozhukattai (coconut jaggery). aduke kitchen was in reverse order at the end of pooja. then cleaned the kitchen for 2 hrs. Defintely lord vinagayar will cure your flu soon. Pls take care of your health visit the Dr.

    Simple Nool Kol Kootu Recipe:

    Nool Kol - 2 (cut into medium size cubes)

    Moong Dal - 1 cup boiled with little turmeric and 1 1/4 cup water

    Jeera - 1/2 tea spoon

    coconut - 3 tbl spoon

    red chillies - 5

    For seasoning - little mustard seeds , urad dal, curry leaves, perungayam.

    Method:

    Boil the cut nool kol with half cup water, little salt and little turmeric, once its cooked 90% add the cooked moong dal, mean while grind the coconut, red chilles and jeera to a thick paste with just little water and this paste to the boiling kootu and mix thourghly. let it simmer for about 4 mins then turn off.

    season with the given ingredients once you turn off the kootu.

    Sangeetha, thanks for the nool kol recipe. I like simple recipes like that.
    Kuganka, take care of your self. Why you cook so much when you are not well.
