    Salangai Oli - remake of Sagara Sanagamam by K. Viswanath.
    Kamal's superb performance, Vairamuthu lyrics and Ilaiyaraja music made this dubbed movie just like an original one.
    Anyway, it's a wonderful movie of Kamal.

    In my opinion, Nayagan is the best movie of Maniratnam.
    That was possible because of Kamal who did completely (uncomparable) a new style of acting.

    one of the best and most articulate interviews ever given by anyone in the film industry:



    the way he articulates every thought and explains with such clarity is brilliant!

    especially the way he describes Kamal's approach in direction (Virumandi) and refers to 'thol kaappiyam' regarding body language for acting - this man is amazing !

    I don't think even Kamal would have described his own self the way this man has done it in this interview

    a very rare and lucky find for Tamil cinema
