    Hara Kara Kebabs

    Ingredients:

    Spinach 10 leaves
    Green peas, shelled, boiled and mashed 3/4 cup
    Potatoes, boiled ,peeled and grated 3-4 medium
    Green chillies,chopped 3
    Ginger, chopped 2 inch piece
    Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons
    Chaat masala 1 teaspoon
    Corn flour/ corn starch 2 tablespoons
    Cashewnuts for garnishing
    Oil for deep-frying
    Salt to taste


    Method:

    Blanch spinach leaves in two cups of boiling salted water for five minutes.Drain, refresh in cold water and squeeze out excess water,finely chop.

    Mix chopped spinach, peas and potatoes. Add green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, chaat masala and salt to taste.

    Add cornflour for binding.Divide the mixture into twenty-four equal portions.

    Shape each portion into a ball and then press it between your palms to give it a flat shape.

    Heat the oil on a heavy-bottomed skillet and shallow-fry the kababs till crisp on each side.

    Drain on paper towels. Garnish with cashews and serve hot with a chutney of your choice.
    Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

    I back to home alone. but 2 days restu venum tireda erukku after all the cooking and moving in the winter . Thanks rose naa vandachu

    K i peeped in for something and saw the cauliflower piratal , and i had it in the fridge. made it immediately mine also came exactly like in the pic of urs, appa sema hit in front of the guest. i just cant thank u in one line for such great recipes

    i got lot of praises for most of the dishes i prepared. i am so happy. for first time idli upma was very nice thanks for all the guidance.

    i was missing the forum even though i was just doing so many things.

    chinnakannan anna pls post the tomato rasam recipe.

    nov anna i made the bannan icecream ( actually so simple) and no sugar. hubby is so happy because he loves icecream and i am so happy to serve a healthy icecream. thanks for the healthy kebab recipe too.
