Kallis feasted on some tired bowlers..Smith/Amla did bulk of the work..the real test will be when he walks into the crease @ 10/2 on a greenish track against fresh bowlers

Kallis to retire after Durban Test
Jacques Kallis has announced that he will retire from Test cricket after the Boxing Day match against India.
Cricket South Africa tweeted the news on Wednesday afternoon. In a statement, Kallis said: "It wasn't an easy decision, with Australia around the corner and the success this team is enjoying, but I feel the time is right. I don't see it as goodbye, I still have a lot of hunger to push South Africa to that World Cup in 2015 if I am fit and performing."

I learned long ago, never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.

Great career: clap: better than Ponting if you include his all rounder skills ... One of my favourite cricketer bids good bye, 2013 really sucks!!
He is possibly the greatest and best all rounder in any format... A team player... he was like water, takes any shape. He can be a wall, He can be aggressive, He can pick wickets. As Dravid says he is the most complete cricketer of his generation.

Congrats to Jack Kallis on a sensational career.
Still remember watching him in his debut year during 1996 India tour of South Africa and he came across as a classy batsman and a capable bowler.
He is a bit like Mahendra Singh Dhoni, you lose him, you need 3 players to replace. Batting, Bowling and Slip Catching.
