The budget and hype of Kuttipuli cannot be compared to Jilla. It is true that a true blue commercial film might not be affected greatly by negative reviews. But the scenario here is different as it is pit against another equally competent movie with a relatively better WOM.

today watched veeram, liked it.my simple review first half not as much racy.and second half liked it racy and less time.(note:but in jilla too much lengthy in second half and too much fight scenes dis make good wom for veeram)
lot of similarities iruku jillaku and veeram and charachters kuda both moviesla irukanga.
jilla -mass entertainer with racy ,lengthy,too much fights and routine story
veeram-slowly pickuping speed ,different story,not too lengthy it makes racy,sentiment
but both are definitely hit movies,after thalaiva disapointng,jilla willbe hit movie for vijay,after arambam hit, veeram will be hit movies for ajith,but but both are not best films for thala and thalapathy.anyway enjoy the sucess.actually these both movies are seasonal hits
