My point is Vishwaroopam got unanimously good WOM and reviews while Thalaiva did not. Hence the difference.

By which logic Thalaiva should be a blockbuster ...I don't get it? ...It is you who said Jilla collections look better than Thuppakki. If UK means Zilch please ignore it and the ignorant posts by people who do not know the great things you do. Why are you so keen on explaining it to them. If someone says Powerstar is better than Ajith will you keep arguing against it? The more you argue the more clear it is that you are perturbed and even if it is Zilch for the whole world it certainly is not for you. That is the reason you keep coming with rhyming frames Uganda, Somalia, etc.

UK collections of Jilla is better than Veeram. That's it. It is obviously a small market compared to TN. Even that is known. Since the movie fared better there Vijay fans are finding it happy to post about it. What is the great sin in this? It is very clear that Veeram is the better choice among the neutral audience in TN through the theatre counts in the 3rd week and the views that I got from my friends and people who have watched both the movies indicates the same. I do not even get the purpose of your posts.

‘ஜில்லா’ படத்தை விட ‘வீரம்’ தான் பார்க்கும்படியாக உள்ளது என்பது ஒட்டுமொத்த ரசிகர்களின் கருத்தாக இருந்தாலும் வசூலைப் பொறுத்தவரை வீரத்தை விட ஜில்லா படம் தான் வசூல் சாதனை புரிந்து வருவதாக செய்திகள் வெளியாகிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றன.

ரிலீசான முதல் நாளிலேயே ‘ஜில்லா’ படம் 12 கோடி ரூபாயை வசூல் செய்து விட்டதாகவும் தொடர்ந்து அதுதான் வசூலில் முன்னணி யில் உள்ளதாகவும் பல ஊடகங்கள் ஒரே மாதிரியான செய்தியை போட்டி போட்டுக்கொண்டு வெளியிட்டு வருகின்றன.

ஆனால் தமிழ்நாட்டில் மேற்சொன்ன இரண்டு படங்களின் உண்மையான முதல்வார வசூல் நிலவரம் என்ன என்பதை தெரிந்து கொள்ள தமிழ்நாடு திரையரங்குகளின் வசூல் நிலவரங்கள் குறித்தான தகவல்களை அப்டூடேட் வைத்திருக்கும் தமிழ்நாடு எண்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட் ட்ரேடு இதழில் ஆசிரியரும், சினிமா விமர்சகருமான ராமானுஜத்தை நாம் மீண்டும் தொடர்பு கொண்டோம்.

ஏற்கனவே சில தினங்களுக்கு முன்பு இரண்டு படங்களின் முதல்நாள் வசூல் நிலவரங்களை குறித்தான தகவல்களையும் நம்மோடு பகிர்ந்து கொண்ட அவர் ‘வீரம்’, ‘ஜில்லா’ படங்களின் ஒருவார தமிழ்நாட்டு வசூல் விபரங்களையும் நமது வாசகர்களுக்காக பிரத்யேகமாக தந்தார்.

இதோ இனி அவரே பேசுகிறார்…

“‘வீரம்’, ‘ஜில்லா’ ரெண்டு படங்களையும் கம்பேர் பண்ணும்போது முதல்வார வசூலில் ‘வீரம்’ தான் முதல் இடத்துல இருக்கு. ரிலீசான முதல்நாள் மட்டும் தமிழ்நாட்டில் வீரத்தோட வசூல் 5 கோடியாகவும், ஜில்லாவோட வசூல் 4. 50 லட்சம் கோடியாகவும் இருந்தது. அந்த வகையில பார்த்தீங்கன்னா தமிழ்நாடு முழுவதும் ‘வீரம்’ படத்தோட ஒருவார வசூல் 40 கோடியாக இருந்தது. ‘ஜில்லா’வோட ஒருவார தமிழ்நாட்டு வசூல் 34 கோடியாக இருந்தது. இதுதான் தமிழ்நாட்டோட உண்மையான வசூல் நிலவரம்.



ஆனால் இந்த உண்மைகளை திட்டமிட்டு மறைச்சு பல ஊடகங்கள் வீரத்தை விட ‘ஜில்லா’ தான் வசூல்ல முதல் இடத்துல இருக்குன்னு எழுதுறாங்க. அதுதான் ஏன்னு தெரியல.

முதல்வார வசூல் நிலவரம் தான் இப்படி இருந்ததே தவிர ரெண்டாவது வாரம் ரெண்டு படங்களுக்குமே கூட்டம் குறைய ஆரம்பிச்சிருச்சுங்கிறது தான் உண்மை. அதிலும் வீரத்தை விட ஜில்லா ரிலீசான தியேட்டர்கள்ல காட்சிகளோட எண்ணிக்கையை கொறைச்சுட்டாங்க.

உதாரணத்துக்கு மதுரை பக்கத்துல இருக்கிற ஆண்டிப்பட்டி வி.பி.சி தியேட்டர்ல காலை 11 மணி காட்சியும் நைட்டு 10 மணி காட்சியில் ஜில்லா படம் கேன்சல் பண்ணியிருக்காங்க. தமிழ்நாடு முழுக்க இருக்கிற பல தியேட்டர்கள்லேயும் ஜில்லாவோட நிலைமை இதுதான். அதுக்கு காரணம் எதிர்பார்த்த அளவுக்கு ரசிகர்கள் கூட்டம் வரல.

சென்னை மாதிரியான மல்டிபிளெக்ஸ் தியேட்டர்கள் இருக்கிற ஏரியாக்கள்ல ஒரு ஷோவுக்கு 100 ரசிகர்கள் வரையும், ஆண்டிப்பட்டி மாதிரியான பி அண்ட் சி ஏரியாக்கள்ல 70,80 ரசிகர்களும் தான் படம் பார்க்க வர்றாங்க. இப்படி கூட்டம் கொறைஞ்சு போனாலும் இந்தளவுக்கு வசூல வர இன்னொரு முக்கியமான காரணம் டிக்கெட் ரேட்.

கவர்மெண்ட் வசூல் பண்ணச் சொன்ன விலையை விடவும் அதிகபட்சம் 300 ரூபாய்க்கும், குறைந்த பட்சம் 100 ரூபாய்க்கும் தியேட்டர்காரங்க டிக்கெட்டை வித்தாங்க. 10 ரூபாய் டிக்கெட்டெல்லாம் இல்லவே இல்லை. அதனால தான் இந்தளவுக்கு பணத்தையாவது ரெண்டு படங்களும் வசூல் பண்ணிச்சு. அப்படி இல்லாம கவர்மெண்ட் பிக்ஸ் பண்ணின விலைகள்ல மட்டும் டிக்கெட்டை வித்துருந்தாங்கன்னா ரெண்டு ஹீரோக்களும் வாங்கிய சம்பளத்தைக் கூட வீரமும், ஜில்லாவும் வசூல் பண்ணியிருக்காது.

அதுமட்டுமில்லாம தமிழ்நாடு அரசு இந்த ரெண்டு படங்களுக்குமே வரிச்சலுகை கொடுக்கல. இதனால வரக்கூடிய வருமானத்தை தமிழகம் முழுக்க இருக்கிற உள்ளாட்சி அமைப்புகளுக்கு போயிருக்கு. இது உண்மையிலேயே வரவேற்கக்கூடிய விஷயம்.

இதை தொடர்ச்சியா தமிழக அரசு இனி வருகிற எல்லா பெரிய ஹீரோக்கள் படங்களுக்கு கடைபிடிச்சாங்கன்னா கவ்ர்மெண்ட்டோட வருவாய் இன்னும் அதிகரிக்கும்” என்றார் ராமானுஜம்.
