Will Sallu Bhai reprise Ajith's role?

Director Siva may direct Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan in the near future. This will be the remake of the director's latest super hit film Veeram that starred Ajith and Tamannah in the lead roles.

In a recent press meet held on behalf of his latest Hindi film Jai Ho, Salman Khan has stated that he is not averse to act in the remakes of South Indian films. After this, Pritish Nandhi who has purchased the Hindi remake rights of Veeram has approached the Bollywood's most eligible bachelor and the star is likely to give a nod for the project. Jacqueline Fernandes has been finalized to play the role played by Tamannah in the Tamil version.

Sources say that Siva is currently stationed in Mehboob studios in Mumbai heading the discussions to make the necessary changes in the script in order to suit the taste and preferences of Bollywood fans.

If Salman Khan commits himself to the project it will be the first time, the actor reprising a role played by Ajith. Earlier he starred in the Hindi remake of Malayalam film Bodyguard, whose Tamil version titled as Kavalan, had Vijay playing the lead role.

Ajith has done it for very many films including his latest debacles like Asal and Billa-2 as far as I can re-collect. That indirectly put pressure on Vijay to do the same. Thala was the first in his generation of actors to take a initiative if producer incurs loss.
