i think rahman could not complete the bgms for padayappa and towards the end sabesh-murali involved in patching it up...

Rana's Dream (Instrumental)
Turns out to be a "Engay Pogutho Vannam" instrumental. The same line is repeated giving variation only in choice of instruments. Sound more like a Relaxation music rather than a real dream, the fabricated vision of Rana. Expected it to be more different in style and treatment, but settled down with the registration made by the lead song.

I think its same case with movie "Jodi". If duo is in twitter, we can ask how many other movies of ARR they got involved.

also by involvement it does not mean they did everything on their own... rahman used to give them pointers i believe... otherwise it would sound very jarring..

Softy,
I think you are mislead by some tweets. Rahman has given due credit to Sabesh Murali whenever their services were required. And the quality of their bgm itself is an advertisement of their services.
En Swasa Kaatrae, Thenali, Jodi, Star are the ones I remember. Pravin Mani has taken care of the bgm of few ARR movies like Parasuram, Udhaya, etc.
