BADRI FLAVOR IN THALA 55?

Remember, Shihan Hussaini the martial arts expert who has acted in Vijay's Badri and helped Vijay in performing the martial arts portion in the film. Now the latest we hear is that Shihan Hussaini might play a important role in Ajith's 55th film which is to be directed by Gautham Menon.

Though Hussaini was not keen in acting in films for some time, now he is said to be impressed with Gautham Menon's script and his characterization. Ajith 55 will kick start soon and already the team is finalizing the pre-production work , including location hunting and costume designs.

Produced by AM Ratnam the film will have Anushka in the female lead and Harris is likely to compose the music.

Shihan Hussaini clarifies on Ajith film

With the movie's commencement approaching fast, another news item has started doing rounds about the film that will be directed by Gautham menon with Ajith playing the lead role. It is being widely reported that Karate exponent Shihan Hussaini who has acted in supporting roles in many in the past has been roped in to play an interesting character in the untitled film to be produced by A.M.Ratnam. Incidentally Shihan acted as the boxing trainer of Vijay in the film Badri that released in 2001.
However, when we contacted sources close to the film's core team, they categorically denied the inclusion of Shihan Hussaini in the film.
We also contacted Hussaini who has said that he met Gautham who was his friend for some other reason and it is being misreported linking him with the director's upcoming film.
Shihan Hussaini has also clarified this in his facebook page with the following message:
"My attention was brought to some reports in leading websites today that I will be acting in Goutam menon's film starring Thala Ajit . I strongly deny this . Neither did Goutam invite me to act , nor did I agree to do this film . Goutam Menon is a good friend and we have met on a few occasions recently .
That's all .
Ajit is one of my favorite actors and Goutam is a talented director . But I won't be acting in any movie till I launch my own production ' MUDIVU ! Soon !"
