பொங்கலுக்கு வெளிவந்த படங்கள் அஜித்தின் வீரம், விஜய்யின் ஜில்லா இவ்விரண்டுமே அப்போது பேசப்பட்ட படங்கள்.
இதில் வீரம் திரைப்படம் மட்டுமே ஹிட் கொடுத்திருந்தாலும், விஜய்யின் ஜில்லாவும் சேர்ந்தே பெயர் வாங்கியிருந்தது.

தற்போது ஜில்லா படத்திற்கான 100 வது நாள் விழா கொண்டாடுகிறாராம் விஜய்.

தன் அப்பாவின் பேராசையை தொடர்ந்து தற்போது விஜய்யின் எண்ணமும் அரசியலில் நுழைய எதிர்நோக்கியுள்ளது.

Cult classic alavuku JIlla illa thaan, we agree. Aana yean ippolam ivanga romba bathichurukaanga ??? I guess it is because whatever efforts they put to bring down Vijay have been in vain for long time as he and his fans come over it easily. Very true Vinod. Vairamuthu speech says it all. How much ever some people try bringing him down...he has surpassed all that so well. Magazines and newspapers want to gain mileage only by writing about Vijay...good or bad doesn't matter. They know that news about Vijay sells more than anyone. Great example is during thuppakki...some great magazine wrote that ARM and Vijay have issues. Vijay gave a good reply that time saying. .better luck next time.

Then one thing Generally Vijay has a lot of fans when compared to other actors...(In his generation i am not including SS,KAMAL,VIJAYAKANTH...)
