One of the earlier observations you made in this topic caught my attention. It is about the ability to handle rhythm patterns and taking time to create music with creative forms of rhythm arrangements. Your dismay that this may very well end with Raja is very well placed.

The fundamental driver for this is the fact that rhythm arrangement is something you can be creative, only if creating the main tune means no effort to a composer. Unfortunately, as most newer composers spend most of their energy in creating the main tune, they settle down with whatever is the easiest rhythm arrangement for their music. It is like water taking the easiest path.

Until you get another composer who has an infinite supply of melodies that he needs to focus on other aspects of orchestration, you are out of luck

சரியாகச் சொன்னீர்கள் ரவி. இதுவரையிலான பாடலாக்கங்களில் எத்தனை எத்தனை விதத்தில் லயக் கட்டமைப்பு! எப்போது கேட்டாலும் அத்தனையும் புதுமையாகவே நிலைத்து நிற்கிறது. ப்ரோக்ராமிங் முறைகள் வருவதற்கு முன்பும் சரி, ப்ரோக்ராமிங் முறைகள் வந்தபின்னும் சரி.. பலவித தாளச் சேர்ப்புகளை கோர்க்கும் முயற்சியை வெற்றிகரமாக செழுமைபடுத்திக் கொண்டெ வந்தார்.

மேலும் ஃபுயுஷன் என்ற பதத்திற்கு ராசைய்யாவின் இசை என்பதே சரியான அருஞ்சொற்பொருளாக இருக்கமுடியும். சமீபத்தில் கேட்டு கேட்டு வியந்துபோவது.. சத்யா படத்தில் "இங்கேயும் அங்கேயும்" பாடல் முடிவுறும் தருவாயில் மெலடிக்கு இணையாக செண்டை(?) வாத்தியகருவியை தொடர்ந்து வாசிக்கச் செய்திருப்பார். கேட்கும் நமக்கு செண்டையின் ஒலி ஒருபோதும் தனியாக துருத்திக் கொண்டு தெரியாது. அப்படி ஒரு ரசவாதம். இவரால் மட்டுமே செயல்படுத்தப்படும் முயற்சி இது.
