'Viswaroopam 2' will not face any trouble - Kamal
It's been more than 18 months and the sequel to the Viswaroopam, a spy thriller is yet to out. Kamal has said the majority of the sequel was already shot during the first episode itself, but the movie is under the covers for a long time. In a recent interview, Kamal said, 'Uthama Villain' will hit the screens first & 'Viswaroopam 2' will come later. He adds, 'Uthama Villain' is not an out & out comedy, but it does carry a lot of funny moments.
While answering to the question, whether the sequel would face any trouble like its predecessor, he replied immediately with a NO! There are minor changes in the sequel regards to crew and Ghibran is scoring the music for the film. Pooja Kumar & Andrea shares the female lead roles while Aascar Ravichandran is producing the movie. Kamal will be moving to 'Drishyam' Tamil remake, which is tentatively titled as 'Papanasam' from next month.

#Vishwaroopam2 - We can expect relationships, sentiments, great action sequences& fabulous dance numbers.
Producer foresees a smooth release
Aascar Ravi also said that #Vishwaroopam2 would be another Sakalakala Vallavan for the #Ulaganayagan as it is a total mass entertainer.
Aascar Ravi said that #Vishwaroopam2 is ready with CG works going on, and plans to release it 3 weeks after #Ai
Nov 14 - a possible rls date

Kamal to release after Shankar and before Rajini
Yesterday, our Behindwoods Correspondent met noted producer Aascar Ravichandran, and had a conversation with the elusive man about his upcoming releases - Boologam, Ai and Vishwaroopam 2. Very rightful of someone of his stature and longevity, he is up-to-date with all the constructive trends of the industry.
We had earlier reported that Ai will have a Diwali release. About his other movies, he says, "Jayam Ravi - Trisha starrer Boologam will be out by next month (September), and Vishwaroopam 2 will be out three weeks post Ai."
So, Vishwaroopam 2 (November 14, a possible release date) will be packed between two big movies - Ai and Superstar Rajinikanth's Lingaa (due on December 12). All the three movies have a breathing space of three to four weeks between them. That would be a good enough time for both making business and reaching out to the masses.
Smart move, we say!

"Aascar Ravi also said that #Vishwaroopam2 would be another Sakalakala Vallavan for the #Ulaganayagan"
should we smile or cry? UN has long back retrieved himself from all those meaningless masala movies and climbed the summit where he alone is achieving varthagam + vithagam feat. Aascar is not doing justice to him by saying those words. rather he should have said VR2 will be more racier than VR.

^ I guess it was just a generic statement, UV..A strategy used by all producers nowadays to hook the family audiences to the project...ithelaam paathu beethi adayalaama...Pretty sure this one's gonna be slightly different to its prequel in terms how the films packaged overall..May be slightly 007ish from the looks of it.

Ithuku paravailla. As long as the loose ends from Part 1 are cleared in the second part. Heard the duration is less than 2 hours, so am expecting racy and crisp thriller.
UV maybe short duration too. Team completed shooting pretty quick and with PP going in full swing, movie for sure wont come Gandhi Jayanthi.
And the way Aascar is putting hype for Ai, wishes he does the same for VR-2.

THE 10 MOST EXPECTED MOVIES
UTTAMA VILLAIN AND VISHWAROOPAM 2
Kamal Haasan has always created expectations, and surpassed them with ease. These two movies that are expected to release in the last quarter are definite choices in the list.

Vishwaroopam 2 by the end of 2014
Here is the latest on the Kamal Haasan-starrer Vishwaroopam 2, which has been in the making for a long time. Sources say that the film is all set to release by the end of the year. With the Ulaganayagan working on two other films now, including Uttama Villain (which he has completed shooting for) and Papanasam, the news gives his fans a reason to rejoice.
A source close to the development says, "Vishwaroopam 2 will surely release by the end of 2014. As of now, only two days of shooting is left and some CG work is still pending. The team is working hard towards completing the film and releasing it shortly."
