Kaththi's music is all set to be launched on September 18, now the latest is that EROS music has snapped the audio rights of the film for a whooping price of 3 crores say the sources. Though the figures are yet to be officially confirmed, the buzz in audio market says that Kaththi's audio rights is the biggest among recent Tamil films.
It has to be remembered that Soundarya Rajinikanth has joined EROS team recently and now for the first time EROS music has entered into Tamil film music. Kaththi has Vijay, Samantha, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sathish and many to its star cast.
Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film has music by Anirudh.

Kaththi sold for a record price
Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s upcoming movie Kaththi directed by hit machine A.R.Murugadoss is one of the most discussed movies among the film buffs. This movie is much anticipated.
The current red hot topic in tinsel town is the “let’s make a selfie pulla” song from Kaththi. Vijay is said to have rendered his voice for this song. The music for this film is taken care by Anirudh.
Vijay was recently spotted along with Anirudh and the images of this meeting are going viral.
Now we hear that Eros Music has bagged the audio rights of Kaththi for a humongous price which is said to be the highest for any Tamil album in the past two years. Kaththi is getting sharper day by day.

AR Murugadoss much look forwarded movie is 'Kaththi'. Vijay, Samantha, Neil Nithin Mukesh, Sathish and many more stars will be a part of the cast in this film and the music composer for this film is Anirudh while the production is handled by Lyca Production. A case was filed against Kaththi saying that it was being insulting to particular religions, but the cases have been dissolved and the problems erased with no further ado.
The release of this film was having a few setbacks with cases being filed against it and now it seems like all the problems have been solved. The film has reached its final stages of shoot and will be released on Diwali as per schedule. The audio release for 'Kaththi' will be on the 18th of September and is one of the most awaited albums of the year too. Everything has been cleared and the movie is set for a smooth release and the details about the audio launch will be released shortly! Also, the audio rights for the music of 'Kaththi' has been bought by EROS music for a tremendous 3 crores. This is still a rumour, but if true, it is the highest valued Tamil album ever!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is a competent singer and has been rendering hit tracks over the past two decades. In his upcoming Kaththi, Vijay has gone behind the mike again for a song titled 'Let's take a selfie pulla' and we hear that the superstar completed recording for the song within an hour. Vijay is generally known to be very fast and hassle-free during his song recordings and for Kaththi too, composer Anirudh had it easy with Vijay.
'Let's take a selfie pulla' would be shot in Europe soon and totally only about 10 days of shooting remain, for Kaththi. The team is currently in Chennai shooting across the city in places like the AVM Studios and also in a spot near the Chennai Central railway station.
