Having seen Dhrishyam, I could make out each scene from the pictures that have been let out. Not too overtly excited about this. But nevertheless will be catching it in theatres. Three Kamal films back to back to back. When was the last time that happened, huh? Kind off happy in that regard.

Even in the close up, he looks 40s. Pretty impressive. His ottu meesai is visible though ..

Anban! That's exactly why I am not very excited. Like you said, I expect very minimal changes barring the nativity and the language. As a viewer, I prefer an entirely new team with another guy at the helm. At least there would have been some curiosity of as to how this version's taken and how much of the original source material is used. There is nothing else to look forward to in this barring the fact that the movie is Kamals.

Saw all the stills. Was a bit worried about the nativity when the initial star cast was announced with Asha Sarath, Anant Mahadevan, Kamal's daughters and even Kalabhavan Mani. Good to see known faces like Ilavarasu (the other cop), Charlie (conductor),the one who played VS's brother in Soodhu Kavvum & teakadai annachi. Yet to see who's playing Kamal's assistant, FIL roles.
