The past 2 days my TL has been filled with profanity from fans at war with each other. Because I said I liked a particular shot of a movie's teaser. I have seen this happen several times in the past. Depends on which star you praise. Probably here, praising someone means we are insulting someone else.
I can now proudly say that I have learnt the profane words in the Tamil language thanks to the some men on twitter ..
All this only because a fan loves a star so much that he thinks it is necessary to spew hatred at others.
I don't know if the stars themselves know of what is going on, they'd be appalled.
The complete no-holds-barred-expression on the internet and the safety of anonymity perhaps makes each of them say some of the choicest words in the Tamil language.
I can't comprehend this. I do know that this unconditional love - "Uyira kudukkara" fans are what makes a star's film run.
Is this all really worth it? Does love for a star blind someone so much that they need to insult someone to the lowliest level to prove their allegiance to a star who doesn't even know what the guy in question is doing?
