Not like that. They are generous souls. They did not want to grab the attention. They are following their role model who did not want to release the title of his film on Diwali as it would have adversely affected the already limited collections of Kaththi.

Yeah,I read that news posted by Ramesh and also the posts here about how the role model had tonsured his head after Nadigar Thilgam passed away. Also he seems to be lapping up Sabarimala these days, one among the many new positive signs from the role model. Alcohol is apparently the only problem. See, the shootings of RED and the new 55 happened coincidently. Head Shave and Red was a coincidence and Sabarimala and new 55 was a damn coincidence too.

KATHTHI GROSSES 70+ CRORES, RACES TOWARDS THE 100 CRORE MARK!

Vijay’s Kaththi opened to a thumping response from critics and common audiences alike. The film which released on the Diwali day took a superb opening across the globe, raking in 23 crores on day one.

Sources say that Kaththi has now grossed over 70 crores worldwide (47.70 crores in India and 23.35 crores in the foreign centers). The film is all set to join the 100 crore club, and might as well land up there by next weekend.

Meanwhile, top Telugu star Pawan Kalyan is said to have watched the film yesterday, and will take a call on the remake soon.
