Thuppaki was released on Tuesday & 2 weeks collection what pillai is quoting to be precise will be for 13 days..Thuppaki ran for 4weeks without any of the new releases as competition..It is not logical to compare the collection of lifetime of a film with 13days collection of a film..

Almost 90% of collection comes in first two weeks.Collection from then onward just adds up ....

Checkout top 10 grossers across all regions. TN,Kerala,AP,Karnataka,ROI,Malaysia,US,UK. If not accurate, you can at least get a fair idea on which films have fared better as a whole.

I understand that TN gets the lion's share but if someone is to be termed as 'King of opening', he has to have opening across all regions. Perfect example is Rajni. As a Vijay fan, I want him to get a great opening in AP, the only region to be conquered.

Correct me if iam wrong. I am open to meaningful discussions like this instead of wasting time with whiners.
