Kamal Haasan and his army on a new mission!

On his birthday, the 7th of November, 2014 at 7 AM, Kamal Haasan, with the volunteers of his Narpani Iyakkam, will launch the cleaning up of Madhambakkam Lake, on Tambaram Velacheri Main Road, as a part of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachcha Bharat (clean India) campaign. Dr. Kamal Haasan’s friends and colleagues from the film fraternity are expected to join him for the cause.

On the same evening at 3 PM Shri Kamal Haasan will address the Press and the public at Anna Auditorium (Opp Doordarshan Office), Beach Road, Chennai and is expected to share the furtherance of the Clean India Campaign and the various welfare measure undertaken by the “Narpani Iyakkam”.

We salute him for his initiative and wish him luck on his new mission!

How do we buy DVDs (DVD quality, 16:9) for slightly old Tamil movies?
Online possible? The ones I see in shops do not look 16:9 format and not explicitly mentioned about video quality.
May be it is a stupid question - but the other language DVDs, I see these.

I need Tenali, Virumandi & Kuruthipunal as I do not have these

சிவகார்த்திகேயனுக்காக தனது படத்தின் தலைப்பை விட்டுகொடுத்துள்ளார் கமல் ஹாசன். சத்யா மூவீஸ் தயாரிப்பில் கமல்ஹாசன் நடித்து ஹிட்டான படம் காக்கிச்சட்டை. இதில் கமல்ஹாசன் போலீஸ் வேடத்தில் நடித்திருப்பார். இந்நிலையில் சிவகார்த்திகேயன் நடித்துவரும் ஒரு படத்திற்கு இந்த தலைப்பு வைத்தால் நல்லா இருக்கும் என படக்குழுவினர் எண்ணினர். இதுகுறித்து சத்யா மூவீசை அணுகி கேட்டபோது அவர்கள் அதற்கு ஒப்புக் கொண்டனர்.

இதேபோல கமல்ஹாசனிடம் காக்கிச்சட்டை படத் தலைப்பை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாமா என்று கேட்டபோது அவரும் பெருந்தன்மையாக எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்று கூறிவிட்டார். இதை சிவகார்த்திகேயனும் உறுதி செய்துள்ளார். "காக்கி சட்டைதான் எனது அடுத்த படத்தின் பெயர். இதற்காக கமல்சார் மற்றும் சத்யா மூவீசுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்துக்கொள்கிறேன். முதல் லுக் மற்றும் ஆடியோ நவம்பரில் ரிலீசாகும்" என்று தெரிவித்துள்ளார். முன்னதாக சிவகார்த்திகேயன் படத்துக்கு தானா என்று பெயரிடப்பட்டிருந்தது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
