Why is everybody in a hurry to pass a judgement? Yes....Gopi's interview does look genuine without trying to be emotionally manipulative. But we are yet to hear anything from ARM.

This is how it often happens....
A cycle hits a pedestrian (everyone assumes the cyclist is at fault)
A biker hits a cyclist(everyone assumes the biker is at fault)
A car hits a biker(everyone assumes the car driver is at fault)


Maybe ARM is at fault. But why are we in a hurry even without confirming?

I don't want to sound condescending to Gopi, but just couldn't see much sense in Gopi's version. There is some truth in his is a certainty, but his stressing the story made for another actor almost 23 times in the interview and his keenness to add 7AM arivu, Madras, Attakathi and now Kaththi, makes me wonder, what on earth was he doing so far?

If Mirnijur Gopi has 'added' a few spices now to up the ante on Kaththi's film makers and to attract the Red Pix community as Praboo pointed out, how different is he from others?

If I am not wrong, there are provisions to copyright the scripts/story right? I am not sure we have an equivalent of a 'Writers Guild of America' which allows makers to put their creative ideas in a safety locker, but is it not a common practice to register your creations?

Cedy sir....irony is people who didn't open mouth for dasvatharam,pandiyanadu issues now sympathize for Gopi because His interview looked genuine..hmmm...people who made issue for dasavatharam,pandiyanadu gave exactly the same interview...y Gopi still not providing any proof other than giving interviews

Agree with you 100% and as always people are busy passing judgement already. But also couldn't see all genuineness in Gopi's version too.

His story 'Mooththa Kudi' was published in Junior Vikatan couple of weeks back. Except for a multinational beverage company trying to land its foot on a TN village and the hero stopping it, I didn't find anything common between the two scripts. Its a common thing happening in our country and anybody can make a story with this as the theme. Eg: Child trafficking formed the basic plot of Vidiyum Mun, 6 candles, Mardani (H) and Thira (M). That doesn't mean they stole the story.

If Gopi is dumb enough to let go seventh sense, Madras scripts and still allowed someone to steal his script, god only can save him.

Absolutely agree with Cedy here. I think this Gopi guy was sleeping on this until now. Tried it through court and crap interviews earlier. ..and when nothing worked...he now uses this tactic of mentioning another actor so he could use the anti-Vijay card to get his version heard and spread..and try to gain some mileage. As Moviebuff says. .best is to wait and let things get proved through some real facts and proof instead of people jumping to conclusions based on some interview of his.

As some of you already pointed out, Kaththi is a story that gives a social message using some facts like cola company trying to set shop in a state, water scarcity/irrigation issues, farmer suicides, etc...which are there all over the internet for public consumption..anyone can use these and make a story. ARM has picked these and made a knockout script. If his claims of the exact scenes/story abt Kaththi, 7am, Madras are really true...he is to be blamed for not using the copyright act to defend himself.

Kathi Trolls – Who cares on messages?

If you are wondering that i am going to defend Vijay from recent Kathi trolls, you are wrong. This post is just to express my anguish how educated youths, so called future generation, are wasting their energy in such stupid activities discarding a vital message.

Many of us might have received a lot of trolls depicting actor Vijay like an opportunist, who is playing double game for Money. The reason being his casting in a recent movie Kathi as a social activist while he promoted one of the soft drinks in the past. Seriously is this the message you fellows take from such a powerful dialogue in that scene? If so i feel very bad and worried about the intellectual level we have attained so far.

Our passion towards an individual should not blind our common sense to ignore a good message from his counterpart.

Nobody bothered to care about the facts conveyed in the climax dialogue. I have not seen a single forward on acknowledging those facts or any vows / resolutions,that vanishes by time, to stop using products that are killing agriculture. Rather i see anti Vijay messages being forwarded all over the social media. Are we so dump to let our worthless emotions to take over? If so please tear your degrees certificates and join in a kinder garden to redo your education that imparts values in to your life.

The reason for me to go so hard on this is another foolish forward that did rounds in social media last week. That was about the mobile internet strike on 30th Oct 14 to oppose the raising mobile internet cost. That message was so stupid that it claimed to create a huge loss to mobile industry just when users stop using internet for a day and on the top it linked our PM for promoting it. People were smart enough to spread that message as they felt this is the foremost issue our PM is having in his hand to be solved at once with their support.

Come on, wake up friends. The best one liner i came across for communism.

The first bite after your hunger subsides is someone else’s…..

I don’t suggest all of you to become a communist. But my point here is use your resources wisely. When not even a single bite after your needs is justified, how can a worthless forward that is being sent via mobile networks, which took life forms like sparrow and butterflies out of our fauna, be justified. Moreover think about the time and energy spend in such activities. In this technology powered world, our each and every action leaves a equal and opposite reaction (dent) on nature. So please act wisely…

Once again i would like to disclaim that i am not a Vijay fan trying to defend Kathi…. I accept it had laughable scenes like Kathiresan having a vision of drainage lines under the table just by seeing the blueprints over the table. Also questions like how did Kathiresan became so genius suddenly to solve the long pending case? And depiction of Jivanantham as a simple man without much courage at the same time being activist that contradicts. On a whole Kathi was an above average movie with a very good message that got lost in anti Vijay obsession
