This is what I look from Vijay as a dancer !!! IMO Floor movements and other gimmicks are not his style.

Yesterday, when I was sharing my concerns about lack of fast floor movements in Vijay's songs these days to my wife, she raised a very valid point.

She opined that, Vijay's stunts these days, they are wonderfully choreographed with all his trademark moments viz., the flip-back-to-position after falling, the jump-kick, the 180 degree dive which was part of his intro in Jilla and now in his fight with the Box News reporters'.. Infact, these stunts are as graceful as his heavy dancing moves. Just his physique, agility and flexibility to the core in these stunts. Instead of force-adding the floor movements in songs, instead they can make it as graceful/realistic in songs and reserve the rest for his fight stunts.

Couldn't agree more with her.

Vijay can dance gracefully both for songs and for stunts. Whatta legend!

Kaththi rakes over 100 crores worldwide; Vijay’s best record!

Vijay – AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi has raked in over 100 crores at the box-office. The film has grossed 65.1 crores in Tamil Nadu, 20.2 crores in overseas and 15.4 crores from the rest of India, where Karnataka and Kerala have the lion’s share. The total theatrical collection stands at 100.7 crores and the news has been confirmed by Anirudh Ravichander on his official Twitter page.
