In Malayalam hardly movies make it to 175 days.
Eetta was a super hit, Madanolsavam was a trend setter and craze among youth, Chanakyan - his last movie was a hit.
Dubbed movies - Premabhishekam (Vazhve mayam) and Sagara Sangamam were also super hits.
But none of these, in my knowledge, ran 175 days.

Ulaganayagan Kamal hasan's is always open to any new experiments in Indian cinema. Continuing with his initiatives, Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has bagged the remake rights of recently released super hit experimental Malayalam movie 'Ithihasa'. The actor who is highly impressed with the movie's plot is planning to remake the movie in his own banner Rajkamal films. Kamal's eldest daughter, actress Shruthi Haasan will reprise the lead role played by Anusree in the original, while an young star from Tamil cinema will do the male lead.
