Final Story : Lingaa is good a historical action entertainer, story surrounding the King Lingaa who sacrifices everything to build a dam. Mullaiperiyat Dam constructed in 1890 when British Rulling India.

Lingaa is the intresting story line with the two periods of pre-independence and post-independence. Directed by KS Ravikumar, written by Pon Kumaran.

Story Base :

Lingaa story revolves around a dam, while construction of this dam is feeding factor to farmers, corporates companies oppose it due to their personal intention. Rajinikanth played dual roles in this film as father and son. Father Rajini going against British to finish the dam work but fails.

After that Son Rajinikanth takes his father goals, take charge as collector. He fails again and again to finish the dam project, how he tried to finish the dam work and where is his father is the rest of the story.

Movie starts first half with son Rajinikanth with current period. Second half starts flash back with father Rajinikanth episode. Finally movie ends with son Rajinikanth and he finish Dam work.

Thamiz, that scene by scene review is a spoiler. Glad I skipped it after reading the first few lines

Reviews aren't too good for Lingaa. Some say it is watchable but most of them call it disappointing, especially climax. Several tweets are pouring in & #Lingaa finally started trending at #5. But haven't seen many positive tweets yet.
