A film is like a Mango. Some like to :
- taste it as it is
- suck just the juice
- make a squash
- cut the flesh into pieces and decorate it with a tooth pick just like King Arthur's sword
- ram the skin between their teeth
- (few) like to see its selling, buying prices, by which they loose the experience of really tasting it.
- make an Indian gravy called Sambhar with the seed
- and finally, rare ones re-plant the seed.
Just see how you like to taste it or use it. For others its their choice, you should allow them to enjoy the film their way.

Hope it is well received in UK..
Yes Bro, it was well received in UK, when I watched it on Friday @7pm, it was house full, It will be a blockbuster (http://www.movieglamour.com/rajinika...ollection.html) for sure , thanks to "one man show" Known as Rajalingeshwaran
BUT sothapal screen play, rather long 2nd half, mokkai climax, , average BGM, average songs ...quite disappointed. BUT Rajalinshwaran makes up for the "occasional" mokkais in the Film.

Rajini Intro
It's a new begining, yes, every single time, seeing Rajini for the first time on Screen. Be it his boots or hip or torso or fingers, that single second when we see him fully is priceless. Rajini intros are one of its kind where the initial days of release of his film people rush to theatres just to see it. Years were very difficult for film makers, as more than the script, they started pounding their head for this one single shot, the intro. But Rajini, however you show him is festival.
Same time last week - Waitied 4 years, and its just 3 more hours for the first show to start. Staring at the clock, as if its hands will become legs and start running. By each passing minute, age started to drop off slowly. The D-Hour finally arrives. Holding the hands of your kid, wating at the enterance, the only difference between him and you is the height. Entry. Thank cards are passing in the dark room, followed by production cards. Then, neither you see anything nor hear anything, meaning SuperStar Titile Card is brought up. One minute, two minute ... after 6 LONG minutes you hear what you have come for - "Raja Perana enga irundhal Kandu pidinga" => 'Hey Hey' - inner throat started to dance, which gushes out the steps of the vocal cords. Car, coolers, boot, coat & finally the Man - Erruption. At this moment you look beside you to find that your kid is also cheering with you, tears roll. What else can this moment worth, Lingaa Intro !

Enjoy Every Rajini moments at a theatre near you. You are bound to get tinnitus when you see the above picture on screen, its normal, please don't panic.
Lingaa - Phenomena

Mappi,
Where was the intro song shot ? The picture above looks like some F1 racing circuit ? Is this in Dubai ?
