I did not see these many objections from fans when Drishyam was remade compared with the news of PK being remade. I wonder why?

Drishyam remake is in itself a baggage he could have done without.
but, two remakes one after the other when KH is speaking about Osborne Hollywood project and vaama margam etc?
given the time and age factors, most of us feel (i could be wrong), he is better off giving vent to his original creative ideas than doing remakes or the likes of MMA
anyway thats our desire - what he chooses to do is entirely his own set of priorities

........ I personally would retire.from.being an active movie fan and will start living on past memories. Im sorry Mr Kamal ...... echil saappadu saapidarthkku naan pattiniyaa iruthuttu poren.
No.1 im sure he will not do the remake as PK has already swept world BO and many would have already seen or heard of it.
No.2 ur reaction is knee-jerk, totally unwarranted. good thing, where ever it exists, can be adopted without any bias. even in the unlikely event of pk remake by kh, terming it as echil saapadu is totally ridiculous.
No.3 criticizing hinduism and its practices thalaivarukku halwa saapdra maadiri. oru velai remake panni tholachuduvaaro..

dr sir, it is not due to lack of ideas. see what happen to his upcoming movies. all his own babies (except papanasam)yet to see light of the day due to useless producers. so he may be pushed to think about pk which hopefully he wont do. (im the first one to 'condemn' drishyam remake but still i cant even image boycotting him)

Kamal Haasan to feature in 'PK' remake?
http://www.thehindu.com/entertainmen...cle6882843.ece
Haasan is yet to take a call on the director for the project, while the rest of the cast will be finalised soon
Actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan is likely to play the lead in the Tamil remake of Hindi blockbuster PK, if sources are to believed.
The yet-untitled remake will be produced by Gemini Film Circuit, which had ear-lier remade Rajkumar Hirani’s Munnabhai M.B.B.S. and 3 Idiots as Vasool Raja M.B.B.S. and Nanban, respectively.
“Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the film’s remake rights and Kamal Haasan is expected to play the lead. Gemini had already remade two of Hirani’s films and they were really impressed with PK too,” said a source. Haasan is yet to take a call on the director for the project, while the rest of the cast will be finalised soon. “Kamal sir will choose the director of his choice. He might even direct it,” said the source.
PK, which was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, and starred Aamir Khan, turned out to be the biggest grossing Indian film. Meanwhile, Haasan is currently awaiting the release of his Tamil films Uttama Villain and Papanasam.
