சிவ கார்த்திகேயன் நடித்தப் படங்களில் இதுவே அதிகபட்ச ஓபனிங் வசூல். இத்தனைக்கும் படத்துக்கு நேர்மறை விமர்சனங்களைவிட எதிர்மறை விமர்சனங்களே அதிகம்.

Rajini Murugan Songs

Rajini Murugan motion picture songtracks sounds like the TFI Movie Song Template - An intro mode, a duet design, a solo dream kind, a breakdown type and finally a folk style. As like all other Imman musical, the audio CD also proposes 4 Karaoke tracks taking up its run to a solid 50 minutes. An album rich with strings & percussion, there are loads of amazing sounds included & recorded by Imman. Not to mention ample Rajini-Mottai Combo tracks. Churning itself into Siva Collections, the pattern used in Rajini Murugan tries to stick with the popularity of Siva. The whole album brings out a rustic impression which elaborates musically what to expect from the film.

The album is a kind of candid look at the character Murugan, roaming in folk oriented districts. Apart from the slow and moving beats aided with string and wind instruments, the choice of words to the lyrics are catchy. Mostly colloquial words are used by Yugabharathy, and certainly many are my favourites - Kadala Muttai, Color Boondhi, Rathi Devi (another awesome name), bun, Uppu Biscuit, ..., etc.

The song is loaded with an ethereal tone, which I think comes from a musical saw. If not, its fine, I like it anyway. Talking about the Musical Saw : The player bends their saw into a S shape. At the centre of the S shape is what is known as "the sweet spot" – a resonating, flat section of metal, which when bowed "sings" in an ethereal, almost vocal tone. By bending and manipulating the saw, the player sends the sweet spot up and down the blade, altering pitch – the top of the blade is the high register, the area near the handle is the low, and the average saw can cover up to two octaves. With the handle typically held between the player's legs, the saw player can add the theremin-like vibrato either by shaking their leg or wobbling the tip of the blade in their hand (from 'The Gaurdian Website').

2/ Jigiru Jigiru

A typical Folk song with a huge musical bit inbetween (reminded me of Mappilai Na Mappilai song) which gives enough scope for cheerful dancing. This song has some awesome chorus.

3/ Aavi Parakkum Teakadai

Kanni Theevu Pol Thodarum Love-ah Daily Papera Padichanae

The whole setup of this song is wonderful. Including the small objects of a tea shop with the appropriate sounds, Imman musically narrates the ambience of a tea shop.

4/ Un Mele Oru Kannu

After a couple of hearing, the song brings out its charm, maybe as it reminds me a lot couple of songs from Veera.

5/ Rajinimurugan

After 'Royapuram Peter-u', Siva gets another intro song. You got all the instruments yelling heroism & fanboyism.

With an intension to give instant likeable songs, Imman has convincingly makes us settle with RajiniMurugan songs for both solo and gatherings.

சிவகார்த்திகேயன் படத்திற்கு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்யவிருக்கும் பி.சி.ஸ்ரீராம்?

பொன்ராம் இயக்கத்தில் சிவகார்த்திகேயன், கீர்த்திசுரேஷ், சமுத்திரகனி உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடிப்பில் வெளியாகவிருக்கும் படம் ரஜினிமுருகன். இப்படம் விரைவில் வெளியாவதைத் தொடர்ந்து சிவகார்த்திகேயனின் அடுத்தப்படம் அதிக பட்ஜெட்டில் உருவாகவிருக்கிறது.

இயக்குநர் அட்லியிடம் இணை இயக்குநராக பணிபுரிந்த பாக்யராஜ் இயக்கத்தில் சிவகார்த்திகேயன் அடுத்தப்படம் நடிக்கிறார். இப்படத்திற்கு அனிருத் இசையமைக்கவிருக்கிறார். படத்தை ஆர்.டி.ராஜா தயாரிக்கவிருக்கிறார்.

இதுவரை வெளியான படங்களை விட இப்படம் அதிக பொருட்செலவில் உருவாகவிருக்கிறது. பாக்ஸ் ஆபீஸ் ஹிட் ஹீரோவாகா இருக்கும் சிவகார்த்திகேயனை நம்பி படத்தை வாங்க பல நிறுவனங்கள் போட்டிபோட்டு பேசிவருவதாக சொல்லப்படுகிறது.

ஷங்கரின் ஐ படத்தில் பணிபுரிந்த நியூசிலாந்தை சேர்ந்த மேக்கப் மேன் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் இப்படத்திலும் பணிபுரியவிருக்கிறார்கள். அதுமட்டுமில்லாமல் பி.சி.ஸ்ரீராம் இப்படத்திற்கு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்யவிருப்பதாக தெரிகிறது.
