Intro
Main Act - Madness Maximum (Mad Max)
Narasimha went on tampering anything and everything. Even after the destruction of the 2 worlds and bringing the Heavens to ashes, he could not stop. Everyone trembled. Brahma, nowhere else to go, approached Shiva. Shiva immediately understood the nature and motive of Narasimha and sends his valliant, Agora Veerabhadra, to subdue Narasimha. Veerabhadra possessed one of the Gunas - There are 3 Gunas : Sattva (goodness as in peace), Rajas (motion as in equilibrium) and Tamas (darkness as in laziness). Veerabhadra holds Rajo Guna - drinking his blood can calm anyone down. But no Gunas worked over Narasimha neither was Veerabadra a match for him. Veerabhadra pleaded to Shiva for rescue.
The clouds starts to part in a infinite pace, rovering over the sun casting shadows that danced to the rythms of the thunder. A distant cry of a Bird was heard by Narasimha which made him look up. He saw a flight of a huge descending force that droped just in front of him. Before him was Sarabha, with a eagle nosed face and 2 wings, 8 legs, serpent tailed, and sharp finger nails. Sarabha slowly marches towards Narasimha and takes him under his wings (Katti Pudi Vaithiyam). The hug of Sarabha calmed Narsimha and on the other hand crunched and squashed his anger that left Narasimha's body. The fierce in Narasimha took even more furious form as it jumped out as Gandaberunda, a two headed bird, a HUGE one. Sarabha fought Gandaberunda for 18 days before slaying it (Another side story - Prathyankira Devi who was called by Sarabha to help him fight Gandaberunda). The end of the gaint bird, subdued Narasimha completely.
Sarabha then revealed to the world :
Yatha Jaley Jalam, Kshiptham, Ksheeram,
Ksheeray Kruthang Kruthey Yekayeva
Thatha Vishnu, Shiva Leetho Nachanyatha
Meaning : Narasimha came to kill Hiranyakashapu, I came to subdue Narasimha. We are both one and the same like milk and milk - water and water, both inseparable and to be treated the same.
Sarabha is the 13th avatar of Shiva amongst his total of 64 incarnations.
Prologue - The Son of the Wind
Narasimha stays to serve as a spiritual leader to project that thru aloofness one can attain liberation. He takes a Yogic stance and praying to Narasimha for a
Kadigai (about 45 minutes our time), will attain liberation. Many Rishis came to pray to him, so did Vishwamitra who attained Brahmarishi Title. But the Asur Loka gets active, more active now. The demons started their massive destruction, scaring and stoping the Rishis from worshiping Narsimha.
During the End of Days of another Vishnu Avatar, the master asks Him to stay back and protect the Rishis until their Yagas are done.
Entry - With his Gadhai and an hyper-Jump, Hanuman, the Son of the Wind.
