கத்தி படத்தைத் தயாரித்த லைகா நிறுவனத்தின் தயாரிப்பில் ஷங்கர் இயக்கும் புதிய படத்தில் ரஜினி நடிக்கப்போகிறார் என்றும் அந்தப்படம்தான் விரைவில் தொடங்கப்படவிருக்கிறது என்றும் சொல்லப்பட்டது.

அதுபற்றிய அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அறிவிப்பு முதலில் வெளிவரும் என்று எல்லோரும் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்க அதற்கு முந்திக்கொண்டு ரஞ்சித் இயக்கத்தில் ரஜினி நடிக்கும் படத்தின் செய்தி வெளிவந்துவிட்டது. அப்படியானால் அந்தப்படம்? அதுவும் இருக்கிறதாம்.

ஒருபடம் முடித்துவிட்டுச் சில வருடங்கள் கழித்து அடுத்தபடத்தைப் பற்றி யோசிக்கும் ரஜினி ஒரே நேரத்தில் இரண்டுபடங்களை ஒப்புக்கொண்டிருப்பது எப்படி? என்கிற பெரிய கேள்வி மக்கள் மத்தியில் மட்டுமல்ல திரையுலகினர் மத்தியிலேயே வந்திருக்கிறது.

அதற்கும் விடை இருக்கிறதாம். ஒரு பெரிய கார்ப்பரேட் நிறுவனத்துக்கு ரஜினி பெரும்தொகையொன்றை இந்த மாதத்துக்குள் கொடுக்கவேண்டியிருக்கிறதாம். அதற்காகத்தான் இரண்டு படங்களை ஒப்புக்கொண்டிருக்கிறாராம். ஒப்புக்கொண்டதையடுத்து அதில் கிடைக்கும் அட்வான்ஸை வைத்து அந்தக்கடனை அடைக்கவிருக்கிறாராம். அவர் ஒரேநேரத்தில் இரண்டுபடங்களில் நடிக்க ஒப்புக்கொண்டிருப்பதன் ரகசியம் இதுதான் என்று திரையுலகில் பேச்சு.

SUPERSTAR RAJINI TO REVISIT HIS GANGSTER DAYS?

Superstar Rajinikanth heard to play a gangster in his next film with director Ranjith
Earlier in the day, we had reported that Superstar Rajinikanth is expected to join hands with Madras fame director Ranjith. Now the latest we hear is that the film will apparently be a gangster flick. It’s been a while since Rajinikanth did a full-fledged gangster's role. Though he has acted in roles that had tinges of grey in his recent movies, his last outright gangster film was Baashha way back in 1995. We also hear that Rajinikanth is expected to play his age in this film.

The Superstar is said to have strongly shown the urge to do a natural movie with lot of scope for acting. Ranjith's script seems to have impressed Rajinikanth the most, among all the scripts he had heard.

Meanwhile director Venkat Prabhu, who happens to be Ranjth's mentor and guide, is mighty proud with his protege being roped in for the prestigious Rajini film. This is what he had to tweet a while ago.

As many hubbers suggested, my preference is also kaarthik subburaj over Ranjith. Having said that, Ranjith also looks promising and no one knows what idea and concept he has for super star. Definitely it's a welcome move that Rajini has moved away from the out dated Vasu's and KSR's and is progressing towards leveraging the fresh talent.

My sincere wish is that, Ranjith must do the same thing what suresh krishna did to Rajini in the 90's...

Well, we'll know in the next coming days. But as someone pointed out, SS is not the person to take chances with a new director .. we'll see. SS with Shankar may still happen later and maynot be entirely a rumor.

Yes, SS would be insane (IMHO) if he gambles with a "New director ".
