Long time no see/no posting! Good you are back.

Mr. Pammalar would have become a businessman, but that should not stop him from saying the fact, whatever it is. We would in fact appreciate if he could made his comments over here. Persons over here are sportive to accept any facts, i.e. the clarification required is USV collection Vs. TP collection in Madras and USV days 182 days Deviparadise collection record [at that time] , nothing else.

I presume that is what you also want to know.

Yes..your observation is right interms of my expectation and only thing to include is overall collection of both the films. When it comes to collection, it is very hard to take into consideration which is truth because Rasigar Mandram Notices, we know how they are made..! Am mentioning this with both the Thilagam Fans perspective. Just to know the facts thats all. Otherwise, Rasigar Mandram Notices does not carry any value, whoever's it may be.

The reason is, when a comparison is made, nobody takes into consideration the theater seating capacitywise . For example : Shanthi and DeviParadise in Chennai....Chitra and Plaza...Plaza and Paragon...Madurai Central and Meenakshi...etc., This will make huge difference in collection. When such critical parameter is not considered there is no use in the collection statements too is what we can also conclude. Similarly, proper weightage will not be given on multiple films of the same actor getting released at shorter time.

We get to understand all these things, only when we think logically. But as far as we are concerned, it is emotion that plays pivotal role...

It was omitted in your Remarks that - The movie "THIRISOOLAM" created Record in the year 1979, only after our beloved God M.G.R. left the Tamil Cine Field in the year 1977 on account of his assuming Office as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

In what way this statement of yours carry a meaning ?

If that is so....I would also like to place on record that USV total Collection record has been Surpassed the very next year, in 1974 by TP.

If you release a film with a deliberate good gap before the release and post release, obviously, any film would collect. . Further, USV had the additional mileage of so many hindrances towards release which worked to its advantage. For example, similar situation was faced by Kamalahassan for Viswaroopam. Vijay for Thalaiva...and you know the collections of the film.

Did TP had any of the above favourable situation when it was released? You may say that you could also released with a gap and you could have also comeout in rebel from Congress, so that you could have also got the benefit. If you say that, then that is what am also trying to mention !!

Moreover, a film that was released just before 45 days of Mr. Sivaji Ganesan was anyway running packed house in the very next compound of Shanthi Theater,.ie., Devi Paradise. Again during the ongoing run of TP, another film of Mr. Sivaji Ganesan was also relesed in the same next compound....Did USV had this type of scenario in any of the location in Tamilnadu? CERTAINLY NEVER !!!! Not just for USV, but also for Nadodi Mannan, AdimaiPenn also ( these films did not face any political pressure/threat)..!

So, Just for putting down someone and trying to brand someone second level, request you not to make such unreasonable statements of comparison.

This is also a true information and most of the distributor whom i had interacted had mentioned that which you will disagree.
So let us agree to disagree on this...!
