It is business. If movie had become BB and if they had made 100C profit, will they give 50% to Kamal?????
Unless there is an agreement that "if movie flops, compensation to be given by leading hero and if it makes profit distributors get all the benefits", all these noise will sound crap to me !

Same logic as in Linga .. Not justified at all, and thats what Nammavar said in Linga's case as well. If you decide to invest, you reap the benefits .. profit or loss. Don't shamefully demand money like a ..

Yes. Any movie for that matter.
If one buys a Tata Indica and runs a taxi; loses money and unable to repay the loan - he will approach Tata for compensation !!!!!!

This practice should never have been encouraged earlier by Rajini (and Kamal) .. easy money. Profit I win, loss you lose ..

+1 to @Pushpak, @Bill4u. @Anban: why do you say distributor is justified. Let's say there was a movie which everyone in the supply chain is confident but bites the dust at the BO, do hero's have to compensate?
