Good Evening !

Even I had looked at the same in the ebook. I am not at all supporting the comparison because, 1973 collections and ticket fares were totally different from 1979 ticket fares. It is like comparing Chandralekha collection with Madurai Veeran (or) Haridas collection with Chandramukhi.

We can may be feel happy to see the collections individually at that period and appreciate efforts of people who collected it.

USV Vs Gold Medal is right comparison

Rickshawkaran Vs Any 1972 film of Nadigar Thilagam is right comparison ( provided the ticket fare remain unchanged )

Otherwise, am not appreciating the comparison part of it. But collecting the information part of it and the strain part of it, i do appreciate..!

Please be assured that even, most of Nadigar Thilagam Fans will not appreciate this comparison between 1973 and 1979.

Your points is what i precisely quoted sometime back also, if you remember on the comparison of USV and Thangapadhakkam, interms of number of films released of the particular actor during that period, the frequency of films releasing in adjacent complex theatre, theater capacity etc...I hope you will also remember that..!

There is no logic in that comparisons !

You are very correct SIr. As informed by me [ as well] earlier if at all comparison is to be made it should be for the movie released at the same time of 1-2 months before or after. As otherwise it is illogical [ Logic itself is a worst enemy of truth, because it does not know its own errors, who knows may be some figures in the image file which I gave is incorrect].
