Indian Scientists to Receive Prestigious Water Quality Award

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Indian Scientists Dr. Manoj P. Samuel (Principal Scientist, Indian Council of Agricultural Research- National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad), Dr. S. Senthilvel (Professor(Agricultural Engineering)), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore and Dr. A.C. Mathew (Principal Scientist, Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Plantation Crops Research Institute, Kasaragod, Kerala) will receive the prestigious McKee Groundwater Protection, Restoration, or Sustainable Use Award- 2015 from the Water Environment Federation (WEF), an international not-for-profit technical and educational water quality organization. The award will be presented during a ceremony at the organization’s 88th Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference this fall in Chicago, Ill. www.weftec.org.
This award is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards in the area of water resources and environmental engineering and being conferred to Indian scientists for the first time.
