    I have seen/read Puli's budget between 107c -120c ... All depends on how it does coming weeks. IMO it has done better than expected so far.

I was referring Wikipedia ..didn't you get budget details from there ...yes due to wide release ,movie didn't impress most Vijay fans and new release show are reduced ..I didn't defend it...I'm happy still movie has collected close to 100 crs ..movie is doing decent everywhere but Kerela d US...in US also bcoz of the late release it collection looks very low..but end of the day people see only collection like you do now ...but he will be back with his next film in kerela and US...if you take top 10 Tamil films in kerela atleast 3 Vijay films will be there...

    Well with 1st week 71Crs... plus rights.. it should be in well ahead from breakeven for producers.

    But how it is working out distribution side?

    i don't think so. it's his home production no? if you don't account his salary may be 50C at best. who knows this may already be in break even status considering other regional business and satellite rights.
