Kamal is known for classical movies. His ideas are mostly to give standard movies.

Where as Rajini is pure mass commercial entertainer. Obviously Rajini with commercial elements will attract audience of all age groups and hence more collection.

We should be proud to have kamal trying his best for giving best movies on screen. Good that he produces most of his films himself.

If collection is all you have to speak to rate a star, you will never get good movies in Tamil

Vishwaroopam is a good example for collection even after delayed release. It became big hit coz of content of the movie. If it was a usual commercial cinema with a delayed release, it would have been disaster in BO.

I think young talents like Vijay should follow Kamal as his fans admire Kamalahaasan than Rajinikanth. He should continue doing movies like puli and prove himself that he is a greatest actor- forgetting about the BO success!
