அதானே ! சொன்ன தேதியில என்னைக்கு ஒரு கமல் படம் வெளியாகியிருக்கு? சொன்னது நவம்பர் 6. வெளியிடுவது நவம்பர் 10. அயல்நாடுகளில் ஆரம்பநாள் வசூல் மந்தப்படும்.

I feel Diwali day is correct choice. Normally, people are used to be very busy, days before Diwali. Movie would be the last thing in their mind. Only fans will go for the movie. If by chance movie didn't click, it will be buried before Diwali. Theatre people won't think twice to remove the movie and put something new. People will prefer unknown movie to a bad mouthed movie. Diwali day is like climax. Almost everyone who is interested in seeing movies in theatre will want to go for a new movie. Still, overseas is not so big market compared to Tamil Nadu. Think of Viswaroopam. In Coimbatore areas, there used to be holidays for the entire week in factories and industrial areas during Diwali. This will lead to more collection.
