is fresh sundakkai available anywhere in UAE?
i know adil stores sell the dry vatral ones....but craving for some fresh sundakkai kuzhambu my mom makes ...does anyone know where to find some in UAE?

i will do just that (mail mrs.mano)
this is how my mom makes the sundakkai kuzhambu
oil - 4 tbsp
mustard, cumin, fenugreek - 1/4 tsp each
curry leaves - a handful
garlic pods - 1/4 cup (small ones, if big cut them into pieces)
sundakkai - 1 cup (stalk removed and slit)
onion - 1 no,ground coarsely
tomato 1 no, ground
turmeric - 1/2 tsp
red chilli powder - 2 tsp (add more if u want it hotter)
coriander powder - 4 tsp
cumin powder -1 tsp
fenugreek powder - 1/4 tsp
rice flour - 1 tsp
salt
tamarind - lemon size, soaked in water
coconut paste - 2 tbsp
method
1. heat oil crackle mustard seeds, cumin and methi seeds. then add curry leaves, garlic and sundakkai. fry for a few minutes.
2. add the rest of the ingredients, except tamarind and fry well.
3. add water and cook the sundakkai.
4. when done, add the tamarind pulp and let boil.
5. serve with plain rice (and appalam )
