After the hyper sucess of Padayappa, KSR & Rajini combo announced their 3rd film Titled Jaggubhai. The announcement/firstlook provoked displeasure amoung various political bodies and community structures. The promotional poster showed Rajini in an attire neither saintly nor aggressive, sitting barefooted along with a AK-47 on a mat resembling a Sajada. His hands potrayed the control of anger where the fist is held tightly by the other palm by its wrist. His bearded face glowing with eagle sharp eyes merged saintliness and furiousness. A yellow shawl is spun around his shoulders, over a south-indian traditional white clothes. His hair is covered by a cap, which looks like a fusion between Taqiyah & Kufi and his forehead was marked with a red dot-the Bindhi, while a rudrksha hanging from a black rope clinging to his neck is visible over the yellow shawl. Juggu Bhai was supposed to be about an anti-social from the Muslim community who gets reformed/converted by the grace of a Lady Saint from a different beleif. Considering the pleas, an already reluctant Rajini called himself off from the film. The earlier reluctancy was that, Rajini was already hesitant with the script which was very much identic to Baasha.

Nothing much. He explained Batcha movie scene by scene. Nagma left pouch consist of diamonds in Rajini's auto, he returns the pouch to Nagma, Nagma's dad sent rowdies to find missing diamond (he said that Rajini was cool even though rowdies tear apart the auto), Nagma fall in love, Rajini went to wedding hall to stop the wedding, Nagma's father realised that the auto driver (manickam) is actually Batcha and so on.... He also mentioned about scene where Rajini's step mother praise him on his sacrifices (for the sake of his half siblings) etc.
