Lingu better get back to his strength like RUN or Sandaikozhi or Paiya.
Why this Vishaparitchai that too with Nammavar!
I am not for this kind of outing.
Anjaan was a fiasco.
Lingu is a hardcore Rajini fan and grew up watching those kind of films and his knowledge in filmmaking and sensibilities as a film buff is marginal. He cannot work on a larger canvass where everything is done to the Tee and with the master on board he cannot even think of perfection in screenplay or execution?
Mere having money to produce films doesnot entitle him to weild the megaphone for the greatest of an artiste like Kamal.
Incidentally I happened to see the trailer of NBK Nandamuri Balakrishna (NTR varis) new release Dictator telugu which boasts of the count as his 99th film.
Few years ago I watched Sriramarajyam for IR sake and still have that DVD . Movie good for the sake of IR+Bapu+Nayanthara and the grand authentic sets. Though he performed subtle with few scenes where he had a scope to perform, Nayan and Lakshman and twins Luv kush characters stole the show.
Coming back to dictator , 99th movie , heavy dialogues, young heroines (anjali being one among), Exasperating faces of comedians, large group dance back drops, punch dialogues (he is struggling when he utters them with great difficulty and gasping for breath) foreign locales just for dream songs.
Shhhhh.... Still filmmakers are churning out these kind of Mappillai (Rajini), Gharana mogudu (chiru) and padikkadavan (danush movie) themes and standard formulae!
How long can they continue to take film buffs for granted? How loong I ask?
Who is asking these film makers to venture into run of the mill stuff?
God only can save the film industry ?
So when movies like Eega, Bahubali and Rudramadevi happen to tollywood people are in shock and rave for months in awe!
Very sad state of affairs.
NTR kin struggling to emote and deliver a performance? Height of Insanity for viewers.
