The climax of this movie was quite unexpected and tear jerking....the simple facial expressions to the tune of mind eruptions, put GG at scaling high on par with hollywood prodigies like Ben Hur fame Charlton Heston or Jack Lemmon in expressing grief to the core!!

Part 5 : Naan Avanillai!!

In an unexpected season where lot of changes were taking place in tamil cinema concepts and themes with the arrival of new band of directors like Barathiraja,,,,,,Gemini Ganesan made a pleasing imprint on his own with this inimitable movie that parades his histrionics at himalayan scales!! Seasoned Gemini in a contrast opted for this negative characterization and stunned everybody speechless on seeing his meticulous and matchless performance as an one man show with the help of KB's touches!!

The climax scene where he is facing his final verdict and the way he engulfs the bitter facts unveiled by the judege.......Gemini sir.....my life long hats off to your finest performance that deserves to be another masterpiece act after Sumaithangi and Ramu!

This kind of a clever criminal disguising as an innocent was reminiscent of Hitchkock's thriller Psycho's climax where Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates shows his latent talent of acting in the very finest way invoking pity on him! Same way Gemini also magnetised the audience spell bound with his lifetime act that had drawn tears flowing down the eyes of viewers in an uncontrolled way of sympathy on a hardcore intelligent criminal posing as an innocent Nanjil Nambi!! That is Gemini Ganesan's school of acting!!

Part 6 : Kalathoor Kannammaa!

yet another lovely movie of GG with breezing songs by AMRaja, PSuseela and music by Sudharsan!!
Kamalahaasan as the small orphaned boy was the centre of attraction at box-office!
Usual story of GG brand with alternate love and hate relation between hero and heroine...but at the end Subam! Climax in the expected line without thrill!!

Part 7 : Avalukkendru oar Manam!

Sreedhar tried to re-present his Kalyana Parisu magic but not upto the mark!! Visibly ageing GG also could not reprise his youthful acting in this movie...though in glossy color! Kanchana too showing the process of ageing..Barathi ...stole the show ,,a mediocre box-office success...but remembered ever for it immortal song 'unnidaththil ennaik koduththen' which became an instant hit and love anthem those days surpassing any other song of that year!! The climax was a little bit unimpressive ...

Part 8 : paadhakaanikkai

this movie is a typical GG triangle of Love! Proceeds as per our expectations with a predictable climax element...pleasing visuals and enchanting songs...though in black and white...smooth goer for GG without much acting load as an entertainer spun with sentiments too with Asokan as his brother with the song veeduvarai uravu...The song poojaikku vandha malare remains evergreen for its honey filled rhythm and music plus GG's dash and verve in love scenes with Savithri and Vijayakumari

bonus climax in Idhayaththil nee..a good movie of GG!

Part 9 : Ramu

Ramu is a fine movie wherein GG's multifaceted acting skills including some action scenes could be brought our so effectively that this movie ranks next only to the number one Sumaithangi! As a military man who lost his wife in a village feud by a gang of thieves and who has to support his only son who couldnot speak due to the shock he got when his mother was burnt alive right before his eyes!! GG was the fulcrum of this movie and it was an unforgettable experience with GG's impeccable subtle acting to the tune of the storyline.
Smooth going climax at the end, as usual GG getting one more heroine in his life!!
