31.1.2016 அன்று ராமாவரம் மக்கள் திலகம் எம்ஜிஆர் தோட்டத்தில் நடைப்பெற உள்ள மக்கள் திலகத்தின் 99வது பிறந்த நாள் விழாவில் கலந்து கொள்ள நடிகை வெண்ணிற ஆடை நிர்மலாவை நேரில் சந்தித்து அழைப்பு கொடுத்த போது எடுத்த நிழற் படம் .

School where MGR studied celebrates his birth anniversary


The school in which MGR studied from 1922 to 1925 was once forgotten. After the leader's association with it became widely known, it started getting funds along with considerable attention. The school now has facilities such as smart classrooms.

On Sunday, people from far and wide and senior politicos from Kumbakonam garlanded the MGR statue erected at the school.

The primary school gets a steady stream of visitors round the year. On Kannum Pongal day, the school had over 5,000 visitors. According to the chairperson of the municipality Ratna Sekar, the school has a total of 82 children. She said it was given a makeover a year ago at a cost of Rs 60 lakhs. After the renovation, the 99th birth anniversary of MGR was celebrated in a grand manner by senior members of the Kumbakonam Municipality. Children from the school also participated, along with their parents, in the celebrations.

Kumbakonam is already known for greats such as mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujam. The school where MGR studied is just 10 buildings away from the House of Ramananujam Mathematics Centre. The chairperson said the school was set up over 100 years ago.

கும்பகோணத்தில் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். படித்த நகராட்சி பள்ளிக்கு ஐ.எஸ்.ஓ. தரச்சான்று

கும்பகோணம் சாரங்கபாணி சுவாமி சன்னதி தெருவில் நகராட்சிக்கு சொந்தமான யானையடி தொடக்கப்பள்ளி உள்ளது. இந்த பள்ளியில்தான் மறைந்த முன்னாள் முதல்-அமைச்சர் எம்.ஜி.ஆர். படித்தார். இந்த பள்ளியில் எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் முழு உருவச்சிலையும் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இந்த பள்ளியின் தரம், சுற்றுப்புறச்சூழல், பள்ளி அமைந்துள்ள இடம் ஆகியவற்றை அடிப்படையாக கொண்டு சென்னை க்விஸ்ட் சர்ட்டிபிகேசன் நிறுவனம் சார்பில் ஐ.எஸ்.ஓ. 9001-2008 என்ற தரச்சான்று வழங்க இப்பள்ளி தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டது. அதன்படி குடியரசுதினமான நேற்று இப்பள்ளியில் ஐ.எஸ்.ஓ. தரச்சான்றிதழ் வழங்கும் நிகழ்ச்சி நடைபெற்றது.

இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் க்விஸ்ட் சர்ட்டிபிகேசன் நிறுவனத்தின் இயக்குனர் கார்த்திகேயன் கலந்து கொண்டு ஐ.எஸ்.ஓ. தரச்சான்றிதழை நகரசபை தலைவி ரத்னாசேகர் மற்றும் சென்னை நகராட்சி நிர்வாக கூடுதல் இயக்குனர் தண்டபாணி ஆகியோரிடம் வழங்கினார்.

இவ்விழாவில் நகராட்சி ஆணையர் உமாமகேஸ்வரி உள்பட ஏராளமானோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

இது குறித்து நிறுவனத்தின் இயக்குனர் கார்த்திகேயன் கூறுகையில், “இந்த பள்ளியில் கடந்த 1 வருடத்தில் 8 முறை ஆய்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது. இந்த பள்ளியில் மாணவர்களின் வருகை பதிவேடுகள், மாணவர்களின் கல்வி திறன் மற்றும் ஒழுக்கத்திறன், மாணவர்களின் பழக்க வழக்கங்கள், பள்ளி கட்டிடங்களின் தரம், சுகாதாரம், சிறப்பு முதலுதவி பயிற்சி போன்ற பள்ளியின் உள்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகள் உள்ளிட்டவைகளை ஆய்வு செய்து இந்த தரச்சான்று வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது” என்றார்.
