Very nice interview.
Now we kinda know and also expect the idealogy the syntax he uses making references in a vast array of subjects.
I know for sure he is very few and one of a kind guy in the show business that is very grounded and knows many subjects in and out.
It is a pleasure to watch him speak his heart everytime.

Someone could have used this platform to push him to commit for VR2 release. Once there were talks that aascar problems are over and restarting postproduction was on the cards.
We dont need publicity or spending few crores for TV ads and Dasavatharam kind of publicity scale?
Why should a kamal film demand such things?
Millions of his followers and genuinely cinema lovers know what to expect from a kamal film.
The makers or the acquirers in this case should just complete the movie and release it.
With Dasavatharam and all of its versions kamal has helped aascar earn a fortune. It is time to payback some of it in kind.

Did Bhoolham make money enough for Aascar to start pumping money for VR2? I thought it did?

some people say the PP for VR2 is going on, some say not happening.. Unless KH opens up, nothing is confirmed.

One thing KH can do is to ensure that unnecessary news does not come out before it is confirmed. For example, he spoke about AAV, to the telugu media and confirmed and provided details on multiple occasions through interviews about filming in US, teaming up with Amala, Rajeev Kumar etc. etc., only to drop it. Now he is floating the idea that Sruthi and himself will be working together, US location, also to be made in Hindi, Ramya Krishnan, Rajeev Kumar, Iilayaraaja etc. etc. Who knows where this will end up. There have been so many instances like this.

It's just a simple common sense thing to let news out only after it is fully confirmed with funding secured and shooting started...

Booloham did well. Thani oruvans success helped a great deal in keeping the good run at BO.A subject with a sports tagline ,boxing a hollywood actor in the ring also gave better prospects.
That apart Aascar should have got his returns the day he sold it to distributors from other states and territories other than NSC , Satellite rights is a welcome bonus right?
So what is stopping him from restarting the post production work?
Assuming RKFI sold the movie to Aascar for 55-60 Cr 3 years ago then his money is locked up for this long.
