Well Oviya annoyed the hell out of Arav which annoyed me a lot. She was an idiot to fall in love with a stranger on a reality game show. She could have easily swiped off the title by not getting involved with personal matter!

She is young - falling in love defies logic and is not bound by common sense.
The idiot Aarav played with her feelings (remember the innum konja neram irundhaal thaan enna song he was singing?)
He also kissed her several times, but behaved indifferent in front of others - the poor girl thought that it was part of a drama he was playing and she really believed that he loved her sincerely.

Wait till he gets out, he will be smacked by the Oviya army!

I believe that Arav realized that Oviya was getting popular. He must have used 'falling in love' as a strategic move to get rid of her. After all this is a game show you know. BTW, I like Arav and his smart play!
