Hello Guys

I am planning to create MIDI files, for that I bought Yamaha keyboard PSR GX76.

And I am having the followings too:
PC PIII, 864 MHz, 256MB memory with SB live wave sound card, Midi cable, Cakewalk Home Studio 2000 software.

If I play only tone ok! Its working but
If I select the beat from keyboard its not playing correctly, and accompaniment also playing with some other Instruments which keyboard not having.

From Keyboard I can hear something but from Computer speaker its totally different.

I select the channel one by one and when I came to channel 10, this time only beat is playing with another unknown beat note, but I can’t play accompaniment. if I select channel 10 my key board becoming like drums.

I checked in option MIDI device windows. In Input Ports side displaying “SB Live! MIDI UART”
In output ports displaying
B: SB Live! Midi Synth
A: SB Live! Midi Synth
Microsoft Midi Mapper
SB Live! MIDI UART , and I selected only B: SB Live! Midi Synth and A: SB Live! Midi Synth

Please guide me how to create a Midi Files. Is any thing to buy more for that.
