This is the only Tamil composition in dwijavanthi I know of. Muthusami Dikshithar has composed two songs in this raga - chethasri ramam and akhilaaNdeswari. To my knowledge Thyagaraja and Shyama Sastri did not compose any in this raga.
The raga is said to be an import from the north, close to jaijaivanthi. For untrained ears both will sound the same. We will leave the disucssion to the experts!
