A quick recap, if not already told by other hubbers above:

1) Pandiyan is persuaded to rescue Chelvi's 3 children because he realizes that though they may be enemies, they still have 1 thing in common - love for their children.

2) Karthigeyan meets Chelvi and is shocked by her identical features to that of his wife. He thinks about Arase's tale she said was of her 'friend' and realizes it must have been about herself, that Chelvi is Arase's illegitimate daughter.

** ராமேஸ்வரத்தில் செல்வியைப் பார்த்ததில் இருந்துதான் தன் மனைவி அரசிக்கு மனத்தடுமாற்றம்.

** தன் கடந்த கால கதையையே, தன் தோழிக்கு நடந்த கதையாக தன்னிடம் மாற்றிக்கூறி தன்னிடமே பரிகாரம் கேட்ட மனைவி அரசி.

அப்புறம் என்ன?. செல்வி வேறு யாரும் அல்ல. தன் மனைவி அரசிக்கும் அவளுடைய முன்னாள் காதலனுக்கும் பிறந்தவள் என்பது உள்ளங்கை நெல்லிக்கனியாக 'ஜஸ்டிஸ்' கார்த்திகேயனுக்கு விளங்கி விட்டது.

Selvi's youngest sister Mahima is sold into prostitution in Mumbai by the priest's evil twin. The IAS officer's daughter who was kidnapped (Kavita) also is a victim of the same ring. In the process of rescuing Kavita and busting the ring, Arase rescues all the girls incl Mahima. Mahi's picture comes on the news. Selvi's family in Chennai see the news and are horrified. Selvi is going to come to Mumbai immediately with younger brother Prabhanjan. As for Mahi, she is shocked to see Arase's identical face like Selvi.

Karthigeyan lets Arase know that he knows about her illegitimate daughter Selvi. Arase is worried and calls her mother from Sri Lanka to come to Mumbai ASAP.

Subplot about Arase's DIL, Selvarani, is being stalked by her ex-boyfriend. Her husband, Uday is angry when he finds out.

Aanaa, it looks like no one else is interested in "Arase". A pity since the story is becoming more interesting now, looks like the mother and daughter relationship will come out into the open. I think Ganga's hired kidnappers will accidentally abduct Selvi instead.
