Requesting U all fans to listen to the song in the night in isolation & U will realize the greatness.

Another feature is that it was UNCHARACTERISTIC of IR ! why bcaz , the prelude is very short ! ( rather shortest in his history ).

Even the second interlude is short but sweet

The flute interludes & the guitar that takes U to charanam is all class by itself !

I guess, the music lovers would have got stunned by such a lude arrangement in 1976 !

& the youthful voice of SPB and SJ .

This song has the "Ilaiyaraaja of 80s" stamp all over it. I hope that in these days of "good albums" and "disappointments" and all the new faces of Raaja, we can still find time to appreciate his evergreen classics. In creative arts, a genius is a genius for what he has created - not for his current market value.

Magnificent 80's Ilayaraja! what a lilting tune, caressingly carried by Balu & Janaki! Incredible ludes, mind blowing second interlude with string quartet(violins playing a multiple movements composition. This multiple movement pieces is called SONATA) with piono, I don't hear the percussion instrument in the passage too. Glorious composition!

"Adhi kaalai nerame" song carries that early morning freshness of dew drops and as the song wafts through , Iam just benumbed with its pristine beauty. Glory to IR,SPB and SJ
As Vasanth says the tune has those pleasant surprises . Violins say everything which even the best of the script or dialogues fail to express.
