Almost all the popular tamil magazines have editors who decide what gets
published. But not here. No one can stop any one from publishing any
story on any theme.

The wide variety of themes you talk about is quite recent. Just 2
months ago, sexual themes dominated the stories forum.

I agree with your observation that even debutant authors have
shown great maturity and sensitivity in handling the sexual themes. here.

The fact that incest, homosexuality etc exist in the society is not really
a justification for *fiction* based on it. **Nor** the fact that it is
considered taboo by many a **prohibition**.
For example, Time Travel does not exist. But wonderful fiction is
written based on Time Travel. Sexuality exists. But not all sexual
themed stories make great reading.

So let us read/write/enjoy/discuss stories that make a good reading,
be the theme real, imaginary, complex or taboo. As long as there is
a wide mix of themes with no one theme dominating, I'll keep
coming here for more.
