When he was signed on, Rehman has told Kalaprabhu that he will start work only after completing 'Sivaji' songs and re-recording. "This is my first film. The hero is also new. Yours will be the only known name," said Kalaprabhu as he accepted Rehman's condition.

Vedika pairs up with Santanu. Young Kalaprabhu has worked in 'Sachein' and 'Thotti Jaya.' His assistants are also below 25. His original name is Prabhu. Since he is very fond of his mother, he has added her name to his and named himself Kalaprabhu.
