IR's unreleased films and unpicturized songs

IR is a creator who does not reserve his best for some particular directors. He always gives his best to any director or film that brings out his best.

But unfortunately many of his splendid creations went unnoticed or forgotten through time, just for the reason that the film did not get released or the songs were cut from the film unpicturized

This thread is for listing and discussing those kind of films and songs

I request all to spice it up with their nostalgic memories as well.

there is a song from aboorva sagodarargal that was not picturized (or we didnt get to see it even though it was picturized?) ..

"ammave naan" - Kamal Haasan sang that song..

there was also a song from michael madana kama rajan..

There was a solo rock type of a song (a la "ennadi meenakshi", "sorgam madhuvile") in Kalyanaraman. They used to advertise the song in Vividh Bhartai prior to the release of the movie. However, the song didnt make the movie or the album.

A slight twist to this subject - there is a title song in "Mullum malarum" - 'Maane" sung by IR. It is a great song. But since it was not in the album, I dont think it got the recognition it shoudl.

Looks like there are many unpicturised IR songs in Kamal's movies.

Are you sure about "Sippikkul oru Muthu" from Vikram ?

I remember seeing it in the film on TV. I think at the end of that song only, Ambika will be shot dead by a gang ?!

Yeah I'm sure.
The one you are mentioning is "Vanitha mani" song, right?
Even Sujatha had mentioned in one of his books that, Raja didn't like that song and composed another
