100th Film and Jinxes
Was having an interesting discussion with a friend over lunch. He claims that the 100th film of any film artiste is jinxed and is bound to fail. He gave several examples and when I countered by saying Sivakumar, he said that the exception proved the rule.
Anyway, let's use this as an excuse to compile a list of TF artistes 100th films. Please correct any of my errors and also add on to my list.
MGR - Oli Vilakku
Sivaji - Navarathri
Rajini Kanth - Sri Ragavendra
Kamalahassan - Raja Parvai
K. Balachander - Parthale Paravasam
Ilayaraja - Moodu Pani
Sivakumar - Rosappoo Ravikkaikaari
KR Vijaya - Nathayil Muthu
Savithri - Konjum Salangai
Jayachitra - Nayakarin Magal
Satyaraj - Vathiyar Veetu Pillai
Prabhu - Rajakumaran
Sarathkumar - Thalai Magan
Vijayakanth - Captain Prabhakaran
Ramanarayanan - Thirupathi Ezhumazhai Vengedesa
Saroja Devi - Pen Endral Pen
Roja - Pottu Amman
Arjun -Mannavaru Chinnavaru

Even I had that doubt, in any case, it still holds a speical place for its uniqueness, and way out of the league (the 'then' tamil cinema was in)!
